ARREST MADE IN ALBA CLUB ROAD HOMICIDE

On December 24, 2008 at approximately 3:24 P.M. officers from the First Precinct Field Operations Division responded to the 4000 block of Alba Club Road in reference to a complaint of one shot. Upon arrival officers discovered victim Jason Everette Milne (18) lying in the roadway deceased. Milne had sustained at least one gunshot wound to his body.

Members of the Mobile Police Department Homicide Unit responded to the scene to conduct the investigation.

On January 12, 2009, investigators obtained a Murder warrant for the arrest of suspect Javoner Moorer (17). Moore surrendered himself to authorities at police headquarters and was booked into Metro Jail without incident.
