ARRESTS MADE IN CARJACKING AND STRING OF BURGLARIES

On November 4, 2008 at approximately 1130 hours, Mobile Police arrested and charged 17 year old Gregory Bell with Robbery First Degree. The incident occurred on October 24, 2008 where the victim's vehicle was taken at gunpoint in the area of Antwerp St. and Polk Street. Additional arrests are expected in this case.

Subsequent investigation revealed that Bell was responsible for several other burglaries ranging over a period of six months. Additional cases may be cleared as the investigation continues.
