On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Dan Williams Road in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim. Jerry Frison, 52, in the front yard of the residence where he succumbed to his injuries.
Upon further investigation, officers identified and located the subject, Ervin Payne, 58, at a nearby residence. Payne was subsequently arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
