On Monday, February 24, 2020 at approximately 6:07 p.m., police responded to the area of Saint Anthony Street and North Warrant Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 51-year-old victim Eldred Hall and 54-year-old Valerie Reed. They had been shot.
Reed was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. Hall was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, Anthony Orr, 49, was identified as the shooter. Orr shot both victims and struck an occupied vehicle.
Orr was located, taken into custody without incident and arrested. Orr was charged with murder, two counts of attemped murder, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
