On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Duncan Street in reference to a body found. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased inside of an abandoned home.
Following an autopsy this week, it was later determined the victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Upon further investigation, officers identified the victim as Jermont Lamar, 21.
