The Mobile Police Department honors Evon Etheridge as the Civilian Employee of the Month for July 2023. With 22 years of service, Etheridge works in the Payroll Detail as an Office Assistant II. She consistently performs her payroll duties with excellence.
Throughout the month of July, a large number of new hires came to police headquarters to complete their new-hire paperwork. Etheridge was able to assist each of these recruits while still accomplishing the task of maintaining the normal payroll duties. Her workload also increased due to having to post the clothing allowance on paychecks for numerous employees.
Etheridge comes to work early and works through her lunch break to ensure all the payroll duties are accomplished. Her selfless acts are exemplary and her tireless work to ensure that the employees of the Mobile Police Department receive their hard-earned salary is appreciated. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and is truly an asset to the Planning & Research Unit.
