On Sunday, September 3, 2023, at approximately 11:32 p.m., officers responded to a domestic incident in the 500 block of Felhorn Road East. Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased, Mr. Darrin Benjamin, 54, inside the residence.
Mrs. Ladina Benjamin, 53, the deceased's spouse, was taken into custody at the scene. Preliminary information from the investigation indicates that the incident occurred during a domestic situation.
Ladina Benjamin has been charged with murder and has been transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail.
