On July 9, 2013 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Mobile Police responded to the 7900 block of Howells Ferry Road for a report of a missing child. While officers were responding to the residence, they were updated that the child had been located in a vehicle and needed medical attention. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the child identified as four year old Cyller Nelson was pronounced dead on the scene.
