On March 7, 2011, the Floral Parade, MLK Business and Civic Organization Parade, MLK Monday Mystics, Northside Merchants Parade, Infant Mystics, and Mystics of Time rolled though various routes of Mobile. Today 163,797 people viewed the parades. Police towed 17 vehicles and issued 26 parking tickets. Police made 16 misdemeanor arrests, 1 felony and seized one firearm. There was no major traffic incidents reported. A 38 year old male was injured after falling from a float at Cedar Street and Congress Street, and a 35 year old male was injured while illegally crossing a barricade. The male possibly broke his leg. Both men were transported to Mobile Infirmary Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
