Good People Brewing Company, Wintzell’s Oyster House to Host Fundraiser for Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation

On Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., Good People Brewing Company and Wintzell's Oyster House will host a shrimp-eating contest as a fundraiser for the Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation. The event will take place at the Wintzell's on Dauphin Street.

Two teams will compete to see who can eat the most fried shrimp in a short amount of time. The team that consumes the most shrimp will have a check presented to the Foundation by their opponent. Each team will have a representative from the Mobile Police Department and Gulf Distributing Company. Good People Brewing Company and Wintzell's will each have one person on a team.

Fundraising between the two teams has already begun online. Those wishing to donate to a team can visit www.razoo.com/team/Be-Good-For-Something to contribute. The team who raises the most money by the time of the event will receive an advantage during the eating contest.

To thank those who come to cheer on the teams, Good People Brewing Company and Wintzell's will donate a portion of beer and food sales from the day of the event to the Foundation as well.
