On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police officers responded to the 1900 block of West Clarke Avenue in reference to one shot. When officers arrived, they discovered 23-year-old Karlos Pettway deceased at the residence.
This is an active investigation. No additional details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.
UPDATE:
Through the course of this investigation, Charvez Green, 18, was identified as the suspect in this case. On Wednesday, July 13, he was arrested and charged with murder.
