HOMICIDE ON BOB STREET (UPDATE)

On February 21, 2009 at approximately 2300 hours, officers responded to the area of Smith Street and Bellingrath Road in reference to hearing shots fired in the area. Officers checked the area located in the 5600 block of Bob Street near Smith Street and discovered a black male subject identified as 22 year old Jamarco Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Williams was discovered lying in front of a residence located on Bob Street. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. On April 27, 2009 at approximately 2:00PM police were able to locate and arrest a suspect responsible for the death of Jamarco Williams.

The suspect has been identified as 38 year old David Michael Killingsworth. Killingsworth has been located, questioned, and subsequently charged with Murder, and transported to Metro Jail.
