On Thursday, March 21, 2018 at approximately 5:05 p.m. police responded to Dickens Ferry Apartments, 6651 Dickens Ferry Road, in reference to one shot. The 21-year-old female victim, Angelisha Jones, was transported to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
The victim’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Kenneth Smith, was identified as the shooter and was taken into custody at the hospital. Smith is charged with murder.
