The S.C.O.R.E Program is a collaborative Drug Market Intervention Program (D.M.I.P.) of the U. S. Attorney’s Office, the Mobile Police Department, Mobile County Health Department’s Fatherhood Initiative and community leaders. The program strives to make communities safer now and in the future by providing a select few street-level non-violent drug dealers an opportunity to engage in an intensive community mentorship program where the participants are connected with social program providers, community leaders and area clergy. These resources assist them in transitioning their behavior and lives away from crime. It addresses fatherhood, employment and education issues. Participation in the S.C.O.R.E. is for one year.
