KING FELIX, MLK CHILDREN’S, INFANT MYSTICS

A crowd estimated at approximately 100,984 combined viewed the King Felix (11,250) and MLK Children's (89,734) daytime parades and approximately 30,220 viewed the Infant Mystics nighttime parade. Numerous floats and bands entertained the spectators viewing the parades.

According to police reports there were no major incidents. However, the Mobile Police Department reported a total of 8 adult misdemeanors arrests and 6 juvenile misdemeanor arrests. No Uniform Traffic Tickets were issued, 6 parking tickets were issued and a total of 22 vehicles were towed. Additionally, two children were reported missing and were reunited with their parent(s).

Traffic both to and from the parade flowed smoothly with no reports of major problems.
