On Friday, March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:02 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 9000 block of Lundy Lane.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to a local hospital, where one of the victims, Cory Evans, 47, succumbed to his injuries. Upon further investigation, officers identified and located the subject, Alfred Johnson, 67, and subsequently transferred him to Metro Jail.
This is an active homicide investigation and no further details will be disclosed at this time to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
