On Monday, May 27, 2019 at approximately 9:13 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of Magnolia Road in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, officers found the female victim, 40-year-old Selwondra Pugh, shot multiple times. Pugh was transported to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
The investigation revealed that the victim’s boyfriend, Jason Cooley, 42, shot the victim during a domestic dispute. Cooley was arrested and charged with murder.
