Mobile police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Fredrick Knight Jr. with murder in the shooting of 21-year-old Jessica Newcomb.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at approximately 9:47 a.m. police responded to Budgetel Inns & Suites located at 156 W I-65 Service Road in reference to one shot. Officers found Newcomb in a hotel room on the floor with a fatal gunshot wound.
