M.C.S.E.N.T. Unit Completes Synthetic Marijuana Investigation

On October 23, 2013, the M.C.S.E.N.T. Unit concluded an investigation into the sale of synthetic marijuana at two local businesses. After several search warrants, detectives were able to seize 4.35 pounds of synthetic marijuana with a value of $19, 690.00. Investigators also seized $124, 094.84 in cash, and a 2002 Ford F150 truck.

Detectives were able to arrest Mahmoud Ali Haifa for two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Arrest warrants have also been signed for Pawan Khadgi for Trafficking in Illegal Drugs.
