Public Affairs Unit

The Mobile Police Department's Public Affairs Unit handles all internal and external communications for the department. This includes press releases, social media updates, interviews with media and website content. 

The Public Affairs Unit consists of two Public Information Officers and a Media Production Specialist.

The Public Information Office is staffed Monday - Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. CST. We will respond to media requests after hours during large incidents that require immediate information to the public.
