Mobile Police Announce New Third Precinct Captain

Chief Micheal T. Williams has announced that Captain Carla Longmire will be the new Captain of the Third Precinct. Captain Longmire is a 26 year veteran of the Mobile Police Department. Starting Saturday November 17, 2012, she will assume command of the precinct.

The Third Precinct, located at 2165 St. Stephens Rd., is home to very diverse neighborhoods including the Springdale Mall area, the Alabama State Docks, and a large residential area of Midtown.
