Mobile Police Arrest a Bank Robbery Suspect

On November 28, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Mobile Police responded to the Compass Bank at 2607 Dauphin Island Parkway for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival officers discovered 36 year-old Roderick Bernard Myles had entered the bank, handed the teller a note indicating he was armed with a gun, and demanded money.
Responding officers received information from the scene about the suspect and were able to locate Myles driving a red Acura at Interstate 10 and Highway 90. After a vehicle and foot pursuit, officers were able to take Roderick Myles in custody at Leroy Stevens Road and Gold Mine Road. Roderick Bernard Myles has been arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree.
