Mobile Police Arrest a Rape Suspect

On October 1, 2011 Mobile Police began an investigation into a robbery and sexual assault that occurred in the 1500 block of Stewart Ave.

Through the investigation, detectives with the help of the Department of Forensic Sciences have determined that 21 year old David Hicks is responsible for the robbery and sexual assault. Further evidence has determined that Hicks is responsible for a robbery that occurred in 2008.

David Hicks was arrested today by police and charged with two counts of Robbery First Degree, Sodomy First Degree, and Rape First Degree.
