Mobile Police Arrest a Robbery Suspect

On March 2, 2013 Mobile Police arrested 25 year old Korey Harmon for two robberies.

On March 1, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the Murray House located at 1257 Government Street for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male subjects approached a male victim, while armed with a gun and demanded money. After taking the money, the suspects left in a dark colored SUV.

On March 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Mobile Police responded to the 1800 block of Hunter Avenue for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two male subjects, while armed with a gun, approached a female victim and demanded her property. After taking items from the victim, the two suspects left the scene.

A short time later, an alert officer located the vehicle in the area and detained two men in the truck. Korey Harmon has been arrested for two counts of Robbery First Degree, and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The second male in the vehicle is a 17 year old male and at this time has been charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The 17 year old male was transported to the Strickland Youth Center.
