Mobile Police Arrest Barricaded Subject

On Sunday, July 05, 2015, at approximately 5:50 a.m. officers responded to Twin Oaks Apartments 6451 Old Shell Road for a report of Domestic Violence with one shot. Officers arrived and located the 25 year old female victim outside the apartment suffering from a multiple gunshot wounds. The victim stated her 31 year old boyfriend shot her multiple times and barricaded himself inside the apartment. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

The SWAT and hostage negotiators were notified responded to the scene. After a brief standoff the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody unharmed. The suspect was charged with Domestic Violence First Degree.
