Mobile Police Arrest RBC Bank Robbery Suspect

On January 23, 2012, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Mobile Police responded to the RBC Bank located at Highway 90 and Rangeline Road for a report of a bank robbery. An older white male entered the bank and demanded money from the teller while armed with a gun. The suspect then left the bank in a blue/green mid-sized vehicle.

Also on January 23, 2012, Mobile Police, with the help of the Saraland Police Department, were able to identify and locate the suspect, 55 year-old Robert Aaron Williams at a residence in Chickasaw. Williams was arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree, Certain Persons Forbidden to Carry a Firearm and Possession of Marijuana Second Degree.
