Mobile Police Arrest Robbery Suspects

On January 05, 2012 at 3:30 a.m. Mobile Police responded to the LaQuinta Inn located 5170 Motel Court for a report of a commercial robbery. Upon arrival, officers discovered that three unknown males armed with handguns entered the business and took the safe and money from the register.

Officers began canvassing the area and located the suspect's vehicle on northbound I-65. An officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop. The subjects abandoned their vehicle at the dead end of Caledonia Street in Prichard, and after several officers and a K-9 officer surrounded the area, they were able to take the suspects into custody.

Demetrius Burden, Reginald Lucas, and Lamario Risper have been arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree.
