Mobile Police Arrest St. Jude’s Circle Homicide Suspect

On August 9, 2011 at approximately 6:35 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a domestic call at 8070 St. Jude Circle North. Upon arrival, they found 70 year-old John Daversa shot at the residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives were able to determine that Daversa was killed during a family dispute.

On August 11, 2001 at 11:00 a.m., 22 year-old Keenan Olson turned himself in to Mobile Police Headquarters for the shooting of Daversa. Olson, the stepson of Daversa, was arrested and charged with Murder.
