Mobile Police Arrest Suspect in Multiple Thefts, Robbery

On July 13, 2011, Mobile Police arrested Randi Samone Hardy for Theft of Property Second Degree, Robbery Third Degree and four counts of Theft of Property Third Degree in relation to thefts and robberies of several area businesses, including the Dollar General robbery yesterday.

In every case except one, Hardy approached the register with an item as if she was making a purchase. When the cashier opened the cash register for change, Hardy took money from the register and then quickly left the store. At one location, Hardy grabbed a bag of money from a manager and fled the store.
