Mobile Police Arrest Suspects for Multiple Robberies

On May 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., Mobile Police Robbery Detectives arrested19 year old Fredrick Benion and 23 year old Brian Olds for multiple robberies in Mobile. Both suspects have been found to be responsible for the May 6th robbery and shootings at the Shell Station located 5001 Cottage Hill Road and the Citgo Station located 507 Azalea Road. Investigators have also been able to determine Brian Olds is responsible for robberies on April 28th and May 10th at the Shell Station at 1507 Springhill Avenue, the Conoco located 2781 Government Boulevard and the Waffle House at 1754 Dauphin Island Parkway.

Both suspects were currently in jail for previous robbery arrests.

Today Brian Olds has been arrested and charged with five counts of Robbery First Degree and two counts of Assault Second Degree, and Frederick Benion has been charged with two counts of Robbery First Degree.
