Mobile Police Conduct City-Wide Street Sweep/Prostitution Operation

Mobile Police Narcotics and MCSENT Units conducted a citywide "Street Sweep" and prostitution operation from July 5 - 6, 2012. During the operation, Mobile Police Department used undercover officers to find people engaged in a variety of illegal activities, including prostitution.

In this operation, police were able to arrest 66 people resulting in 20 felonies, 80 misdemeanors and seized three guns. Eight people were arrested on prostitution-related charges.
