Mobile Police Department Arrest Shooting Homicide Suspect

On September 29, 2011, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the suspect in the Burma Road homicide, Antonio Santel Kidd, turned himself into authorities at Mobile Police Headquarters. He was arrested on charges for Murder and Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, which occurred on September 27, 2011 following the commission of the homicide.

On September 27, 2011, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a call of one shot on the corner of Burma and Burma Hills Roads.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that 26 year-old Michael Hunter had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Hunter was transferred to Mobile Infirmary West, where he later succumbed to his injury.
