Mobile Police Department Investigate Attempt Murder

On Thursday, January 30, 2014, at approximately 9:45 p.m. Officers of the Mobile Police Department responded to the 600 block of Carver Street for a report of one stabbed. Upon arrival, they found an adult female victim suffering with a stab wound to the chest. Detective's investigation revealed 24 year old Kayla French responded to the location and forced her way inside the residence while armed with a knife. After entering the residence French assaulted then stabbed the female victim in the chest.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in stable but critical condition.
