Mobile Police Department Investigating Traffic Fatality

On Sunday, March 2, 2014, at approximately 12:15 a.m. officers responded to the intersection of Grelot Road at Hillcrest Road for a report of a single car accident with injuries. Officers' investigation revealed the vehicle driven by a juvenile left the roadway and struck a building. Five juveniles were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Mobile Fire / Rescue Department pronounced one juvenile dead on the scene. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor in this crash.


Traffic Homicide Investigators will continue their analysis of the crash.
