Mobile Police Department Make Rouses Robbery Arrest

On Friday, July 25, 2014, at approximately 12:15 p.m. officers responded to Rouses 7361 Theodore Dawes Road for a Commercial Robbery. The victim stated he attempted to stop arrested person, 60 year old Donnie Moore, from shoplifting steaks from the business. The victim stated Moore pushed passed him and made it to his vehicle.

Once at his vehicle Moore armed himself with a handgun and pointed at the victim. The victim then armed himself with his handgun. A citizen seeing what happen armed himself with a handgun and fired several times at Moore striking his vehicle. Officers located Moore a short time later at a near by Apartment Complex.

No Charges will be filed against the citizen for discharging his weapon. Moore will be booked into Mobile County Metro Jail for Robbery First Degree.
