Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Congress Street

On October 12, 2011 at approximately 4:40 p.m. Mobile Police responded to a report of a man that had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center where he later died.

Homicide detectives will continue the investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
