Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Dandale Drive (update)

On July 17, 2012, at 12:52 p.m. Mobile Police Department responded to the 5300 block of Dandale Drive for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found 25 year-old Christy Golston with an apparent gunshot wound. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Through the investigation, detectives have determined that 24 year-old Mario Davis is responsible for the death of Christy Golston. Davis was arrested last night by the US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Georgia State Police in Troup County Georgia, and has been charged with Murder pending extradition to Mobile.
