Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On December 11, 2012 at approximately 6:00 a.m., Mobile Police responded to a wreck with injuries at Cochrane Causeway and 6th Street. Upon arrival, officers found 23 year old Charles Hoven from Saraland Alabama had died as a result of the crash.

The investigation reveals that Mr. Hoven was south bound on Cochrane Causeway when he collided with a tractor trailer. Investigators believe speed was a factor and Mr. Hoven was not wearing a seatbelt.

Traffic Homicide Detectives will continue to investigate the incident. If anyone has information, please call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211.
