On April 5, 2013, at 3:03 a.m. Mobile Police responded to a wreck with injuries at the intersection of Dauphin Island Parkway and Duval Street. Upon arrival, officers found a white Grand Marquis had left the roadway and struck a power pole. The Driver of the vehicle, identified as 21 year old Jermaine Davis, was pronounced dead on the scene, and two passengers were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Detectives believe speed is a factor.
