Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On March 15, 2012 at 6:20 a.m. Mobile Police responded to a report of a man struck riding a bicycle on Schillinger Road just north of Airport Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found that 51 year-old Charles Allen had been struck while in the roadway. Allen was transported to Providence Hospital where he later died from his injuries. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the crash.
