Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On March 21, 2012 at 11:27 p.m. Mobile Police responded to Spring Hill Avenue and Broad Street for a report of a wreck with injuries. Upon arrival, officers found three victims in a single vehicle crash. Two people ages 54 and 29 were transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center with serious injuries and 40 year-old Shelia Brewer was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives have determined that the 54 year-old male driver was eastbound on Spring Hill Avenue when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on the westbound side of the street.
