Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On September 10, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. Mobile Police responded to Highway 90 and Hamilton Boulevard for a report of a male stuck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found 57 year old Waymond Charles Perry in the east bound lanes of Highway 90 and he had been struck by a white Honda Accord. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and Perry was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary results of the investigation revealed that Waymond Perry was crossing Highway 90 at night while wearing dark clothes when he was struck by the vehicle.
