Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality on Bay Bridge Road

On November 14, 2010 at 12:33 a.m. Mobile Police responded to a report of a lady struck by a vehicle on Bay Bridge Road. Upon the officer's arrival, they found a victim that had been struck by a Nissan van. Mobile Fire Department responded and the female victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary results of the investigation reveal the deceased female has been identified as 50 year old Andretta Malone from Mobile. Andretta Malone had just left the Elks Lounge when she was crossing the street and stuck by the van.

Traffic Homicide detectives will continue the investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
