Mobile Police Investigate an Officer Involved Wreck with Injuries

On May 25, 2011 at 12:17 p.m. a Mobile Police officer, while responding to a call for service, collided with two vehicles in the intersection of Carol Plantation and Old Pascagoula Road.

Preliminary results of the investigation reveal the Officer Robert Harris was west-bound on Old Pascagoula when the collision occurred. Five people have been transported to local hospital by ambulance and one person by Life Flight.

Traffic Accident Investigators and the Internal Affairs Unit will conduct an investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
