On Friday, January 27, 2017, at approximately 6:22 p.m. officers responded to the 1300 block of W Gulf Field Drive for a report of One Stabbed. Officers located Kendale Ely, 38, inside a residence suffering from multiple stab wounds. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and pronounced Ely deceased.
Homicide detectives interviewed Nigel Steele, 26, in reference to this incident. Following the interview Steele was arrested and charged with Murder.
