Mobile Police Investigate Homicide In The 1900 Block Of Andrews Street

On Sunday, July 12, 2015, at approximately 8:55 a.m. officers responded to Mobile Infirmary Hospital for a report of One Shot. Officer's investigation revealed the 33 year old male victim was shot twice in the back in the 1900 block of Andrews Street. The victim later died from his injuries.

During the investigation the suspect, 28 year old Fredrick Matthews, returned to the scene and surrendered to Homicide Detectives. Matthews was interviewed, arrested and charged with Murder.
