Mobile Police Investigate Homicide on Dwight Court

On May 10, 2014, at 8:25 a.m., Mobile Police responded to the 3800 block of Dwight Court for a report of one shot. Upon arrival, police discovered 42 year-old Timothy Hunter with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injury.

Investigation revealed the victim was involved in a domestic dispute with his 28 year-old stepson, Kendis Chambers, who produced a gun and shot the victim during the dispute.

The suspect was taken into custody on the scene and is expected to be charged with Murder.

Mobile Police Homicide Detectives will continue to investigate the case.
