On Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at approximately 4:35 p.m. police responded to the 1300 block of Gulf Field Drive West in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 32-year-old Mercedes Jackson, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Jackson was pronounced deceased on the scene.
