Mobile Police Investigate Officer Involved Shooting

On Monday, May 18, 2015, at approximately 8:11 p.m. officers responded to the 7900 block of Tanner Williams Road for a report of a Possible Home Invasion with shots fired at the victim. Upon arrival, the suspect, a 43 year old male, fired several rounds at police striking two patrol vehicles. Officers were able to return fire striking the suspect once in the shoulder. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Once he is released he will be facing several charges.
