Mobile Police Investigate Stabbings at LeFlore High School

On October 30, 2014, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to LeFlore High School for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a 15 year-old male subject with three stab wounds and a 16 year-old male subject with one stab wound. Both were transported to local hospitals for non life-threatening injuries. Both victims are students at the school. The stabbing followed an ongoing altercation.

Officers detained 17 year-old Demontriz Beasley, also a LeFlore student, on the scene. Beasley was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault Second Degree and transported to Metro Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
